Bloody hell who pressed the fast forward button. So it’s coming up to that time. That holy-shit-where’d-my-baby-go time. Bring it on. We’re doing a double headed birthday while we still can, in fact the Big Berry managed to make it seem like her own idea. Winning. So speaking of winning, I’m going a sparkly, gold-plated, gem-encrusted theme. A pair of gems, that’s what we got :)
The cracks are starting to show on this two baby show. The Big Berry is stroppy, I am stressed, the Little Berry is prone to random wailing and there’s way too much TV on. So I’m loving these and I’m determined to give a few a go… Wish me luck!

It’s unseasonably sunny and warm in Sydney today, so I’m finally in the right frame of mind for a northern-hemisphere inspired Pinterest Friday. If Pinterest is anything to go by, the whole population of North America and a good number of Europeans are spending the entire summer sucking on a popsicle.
Raspberry and White Cherry Yogurt Pops from Verses From My Kitchen
Orange Creamsicles from Oven Love
Lemonade Stand Popsicles from Somewhere Splendid
Apricot Rice Pudding Pops from Bon Appetite
Cucumber Honeydew Margarita Popsicles from Endless Simmer – Endless Simmer have tons more delicious grown-up popsicles like Cherry Apple Whiskey Sour. Click through at your peril.
So I went to visit a girlfriend last weekend who is living in Darwin. I’d never been before, and the beautiful, gregarious, joyful and generous Jen has been travelling the world for almost a year so I’ve hardly seen her either. It was 48 hours of constant chat, giggles, and girly time. Apart from an ear-licking incident and some lost luggage (more on that later), I had THE. BEST. TIME.
One of the topics we rabbited about was the decoration of Jen’s new flat, gorgeous from the outside, but a bit lost on the inside, with lots of hand-me-downs combined with Jen’s travel jewels. So I’ve been putting together a Pinterest present for her: a little virtual re-design. Many more pretties on the board, here.

I know I’m very, very late on the neon trend. You know what was turning me off? Dip dyed furniture legs. Not quite right, dunno why, just find them odd. Anyway, pretty much everything else about neon is right, right right!
